Writing Therapy Down and Cup of Soup

I posted this blog a short while ago and got several emails in return from both therapists and patients. Everyone seems surprised that evaluations, treatment plans, and session notes should actually be written notes (or some kind of records). Sure, it’s more work. Good therapy IS work–for the therapist and the patient.  Also, BONUS: see our first mini-blog, Therapy Cup of Soup and a discussion on semantics–to be patient? to be a client? to be a consumer? Go with what makes you happy.
