BS”D: Richard Zwolinski, the author of Therapy Revolution: Find Help, Get Better, and Move On (Without Wasting Time or Money), is a nationally and internationally licensed psychotherapist, and anxiety and addiction specialist with over 25 years experience. He is dedicated to helping people  find great therapists, get better, and move on with their lives. Richard encourages therapy patients to stay emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually healthy so they can live the happy, productive, meaningful lives they were meant to live. He also volunteers with youth at risk and lives in Brooklyn, New York.

About Richard Zwolinski’s Work

Richard Zwolinski, LMHC, CASAC-G, SAP, ICADS, ADS, is speaker and consultant to organizations and companies in the fields of mental health and addiction. He serves on the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services Administrative Regulatory Relief Committee, the group that is writing important patients’ rights regulations for New York State. He is also the provider co-chair for the OASAS Smart Records Committee which creates and implements documents designed to keep therapy patients engaged in treatment as well as make sure psychotherapists adhere to treatment protocols. Since 2008 he has served on the Ethics Committee for the New York State Mental Health Counselors Association. Additionally he is the regulatory compliance officer and director of an addiction and mental health treatment program in New York City as well as has a private practice.

Consulting, Speaking, and Appearances

 Richard Zwolinski, LMHC, CASAC-G, SAP, ICADC, is a consultant to organizations and businesses including clinical programs for mental health and/or addiction; psychiatric and other hospitals; professional organizations (MDs, RNs, attorneys and others); financial firms; government and non-government Service Industries, etc. These groups and others have sought his expertise in program marketing, retention, and the development of mental health and addiction policies. Richard has also developed educational,  and motivational programs tailored to the unique needs of various industries, and assists those who want to outreach or market to other groups or individuals in the fields of mental health  and addiction. He also speaks and gives workshops on: mental health and psychotherapy; therapy patient rights; professional  ethics for therapists including psychiatrists, mental health counselors, psychologists, social workers, etc; coordinating psychiatric medication and psychotherapy; coordinating medical treatment and pyschotherapy; the importance of mental health treatment plans; and much more.
